Rat look

John Avis by | September 19, 2012 | E36

I have recently developed a bit of a fascination with "rat look" cars. What is "rat look"? There is a good description at rat-look.com or let the pictures below tell the story.

One of the reason it appeals is that it is a relatively low cost way of customising a car, and obviously the standard of the car and the workmanship does not have to be that great to achieve a good result.

The E36 3 series seems to be well represented in this scene. Here are some photos of some modified E36s.

About me

I am a bit of a 3 series fanatic, having owned a couple of E30s and a few E36s, plus a few parts cars. I like the combination of the compact size, good performance and handling, and that they are more sports sedan than an impractical and extrovert sports car. This blog is a place to share my experience and knowledge.
